Quarterbacks Suffer Significant Injuries In Week 10
Some NFL teams might want to forget last Sunday. That’s because quarterbacks suffered significant injuries in Week 10 action. The injuries include a possible season-ending hand injury to Chiefs QB Matt Cassel, a significant foot injury to the Texans’ Matt Schaub, 2 broken ribs to the Eagles Michael Vick and a broken right thumb to the Steelers Ben Roethlisberger.
Kansas City Chiefs Matt Cassel could be lost for the season after suffering a significant injury to his throwing hand in the Chiefs loss (17-10) to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The injury occurred late in the 4th quarter when Cassel was sacked by Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller. He was replaced by Tyler Palko in the final offensive series against the Broncos.

Video Killed The Broncos Head Coach: Josh McDaniels
It seems that video did more than kill the radio star, it killed Josh McDaniels’s reign as head coach of the Denver Broncos.
On Monday, the Denver Broncos confirmed that McDaniels was fired because of the team’s performance and the negative impact on the Broncos reputation brought on by the video tape scandal.
Broncos video coordinator Steve Scarnecchia was caught video taping the San Francisco 49ers walkthrough practice on Oct. 30 in London. McDaniels was aware of the incident, but never reported it to the team. He was fined $50,000 and the team was fined an additional $50,000.
McDaniels record as the Broncos head coach was 8-8 in 2009 (2nd best in the AFC West) and 3-9 in 2010 (4th place in the AFC West).
